Our 10-week Sewing Construction Course is tailored for aspiring fashion entrepreneurs from all backgrounds and skill levels. Whether starting from scratch or refining your existing skills, this program equips you with the knowledge and confidence to create multiple garments with confidence! ________________________________________ PROGRAM HIGHLIGHTS Class Objective: Over 10 weeks, you'll complete multi-foundational projects designed to teach critical garment construction techniques. Each project builds your skills step-by-step, giving you hands-on experience with a variety of garments: 1. Designer Top: o Seam allowances, darts, and finishes o Armholes and garment closures o Gathering, facing and binding o Cutting rules, pinning garments, and pressing techniques 2. Designer Skirt: o Waistbands, facings, and pockets o Invisible zippers, buttons, hooks, and eyes o Basic hand sewing, skirt hems, topstitching, and lining 3. Designer Dress with Sleeves o Selecting and buying fabrics & materials o Gathering, fullness, and flare o Varieties of sleeve options o Baby hem, regular hems, etc. 4. Designer Shorts: o Pockets installation o Installing waist elastic o Waistband o Cover stitch hem and its machine Under the expert guidance of Princess Faraj, you'll not only master sewing techniques but also learn how to operate a sewing machine effectively.
