Elevate your sewing skills in just one hour with a private virtual session designed around you. Learn live, get expert guidance, and walk away with techniques you can apply immediately. What You’ll Need to Get Started Sewing Machine Basics Before class, make sure you have: A working sewing machine Machine power cord & foot pedal Sewing machine needles (Universal size 80/12 recommended) Bobbins (compatible with your machine) Thread (polyester all-purpose thread is best for beginners) ✂️ Essential Tools Please have these ready: Fabric scissors (sharp, for fabric only) Measuring tape Straight pins or clips Pin cushion Seam ripper (for fixing mistakes) Chalk or fabric marker 🧵 Fabrics for Beginners Start with easy-to-handle fabrics: Cotton (recommended) ✔️ Muslin Light linen 👉 Avoid stretchy or slippery fabrics (like silk or jersey) for now. 📦 Additional Supplies Helpful extras: Extra fabric for practice Notebook + pen (for notes) Iron (for pressing seams — very important!) Optional: Zippers, buttons, or elastic (depending on project)
