Our 5-week Sewing Course is designed for aspiring fashion entrepreneurs of all ages and experience levels. Whether you’ve never touched a sewing machine or you’re looking to enhance your skills, this program will guide you every step of the way. By the end of this course, you’ll walk away with two complete garments and the confidence to take the next step in your fashion journey! ________________________________________ COURSE HIGHLIGHTS Class Objective: Over the 5 weeks, you'll work on two foundational projects that teach essential garment assembly techniques: 1. Bodice Top: o Seam allowances o Darts o Finishes o Armholes o Garment closures o Cutting and pinning o Pressing and folding 2. Waistband Skirt: o Waistbands and facings o Pockets o Waistlines o Zippers, buttons, hooks, and eyes o Hand-sewing basics o Skirt hems o Topstitching, lining, and seam allowances ________________________________________ WHAT YOU’LL TAKE HOME: 1. A finished bodice top 2. Welcome to Faraj Couture Creative Studio Terms & Conditions Membership Cancellation You may cancel your Faraj Couture membership at any time. Please note, however, that all payments are non-refundable. Session Attendance If you are unable to attend a scheduled session, please notify Faraj Couture at least 24 hours in advance via phone, email, or text. Failure to provide timely notice may result in a reduction of your total instructional hours. Absences Students are allowed up to two (2) unexcused absences per term. Any missed sessions must be made up within the course duration to ensure continuity of learning. Certification Completion of a single course does not result in certification. To receive a Faraj Couture Certificate of Completion, which verifies mastery of essential skills, you must successfully complete the full Certification Program.
